Tasting notes

An omnipresent contender at the top level, this wine is sure to be appreciated by lovers of dense, coloured wines with elegant vinification. Much work has been put in among the vines, as the results clearly show. Very attractive.

The property in brief

Cru bourgeois until 2002, the chateau has been classified cru bourgeois supérieur from the vintage 2003 onwards. Being neighbours of Vieux Robin, we have been following this very dynamic château for long. Maryse and Didier Roba wish to hoist this terroir to the level of grands crus classés, and are sure that they can do in North Medoc what others do in Saint Julien or Margaux.
