The property in brief

Château Poujeau is located in a small village named Saint Genès de Lombaud in the Entre-deux-Mers of Bordeaux region, close to the village of Créon. The vineyard is spreading on the slopes of the right bank of the Garonne river. The soil has a majority of clay, limestone with fine gravels. This terroir produces fine, subtle and very perfumed wines.

With his 3.7 hectares vineyards, the owner  harvests the grapes and makes the wine himself.

Tasting Notes Vintage 2010

80% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon: A brilliant and dark robe, nose with fruit and minerality. The mouth is crunchy and perfumed, sweet and full bodied with black currant and strawberry marks. The final is balanced and long.
