All wines are offered subject to availability and price change, and acceptance, errors or omissions excepted. Orders are subject to acceptance by CHATEAU CLASSIC SARL and have to be confirmed in writing by us (04/2010P)

Prices - minimum order

Prices are in Euros per bottle, exclusive VAT and duty, ex-cellars (EX-WORKS, EXW) Saint Christoly Médoc (33340 - France.

VAT

European Union Regulation I. Delivery to a country inside the European Union: - If the consignee (delivery address) is exempted from VAT in the country of delivery: the order will be invoiced exclusive VAT after having verified the VAT identification number of the consignee. - If the consignee (delivery address) is NOT exempted from VAT in the country of delivery: the order will be invoiced inclusive French VAT. II. Delivery outside the European Union: The order will be invoiced ex. VAT and ex. taxes.

Packaging

The wines are sold in the advertised packaging.

Samples by Airfreight

Samples are available at extra shipping cost.

Availability

All the wines are stored in our air-conditioned cellars (33340 Saint-Christoly-Médoc - France) and therefore immediately available, except for futures.

Wines marked with a ž (China) are available from our Chinese platform and do also benefit from optimum storage conditions, in air-conditioned warehouses.

Damages

Wines are transported at the client's risk.

*Futures purchases - special terms

Delivery of futures are made according to the availability of the commodities.

Primeur/Futures 2011 autumn 2013/spring 2014

Primeur/Futures 2012 autumn 2014/spring 2015

Orders for Futures/en Primeur vintage 2012 have to be paid up to September 30th, 2013. In case of late or no payment at all, we reserve the right to cancel your order without any further reminder.

Payment

Payment by bank transfer at 30 days, date of order confirmation / proforma invoice. Wines can be collected before this date provided that payment has been made before release. Payment terms updated on March 14th, 2008. For late payment, 5% per annum in accordance with the rate of the European Central Bank will be charged.

Cork failure

According to the international practices, we cannot exchange corked bottles.

Old wines

All our wines are stored under ideal conditions in our air-conditioned cellars of Saint-Christoly-Médoc. However, we cannot guarantee the perfect state and quality of wines older than 10 years.

General

Wines remain the property of Chateau Classic until payment has been received in full, even if the goods have been resold to a third party.

The special offers that can sometimes be available on this web site can never be claimed together with other special offers, and are granted upon conditions.

Bottle descriptions, label state, level of wine, etc...

Please note that wines in original wooden cases and without any specific description are in perfect condition regarding level of wine, label, or cap. Wines that are packed in standard wooden/cardboard cases without any specific description could be slightly different from one bottle to another. For wines older than 15 years (or more) the state of the bottle corresponds to its age, and is generally comparable to the state of the bottles in the same vintage. Regarding the bottles with "defects" we can always send you a picture upon request.
